Alyeskoons Teklanika of Denalicoons

Currently we have several spayed adult females looking for lifetime homes such as Teklanika also called Nika. Nika is a littermate sister to Jenny, who is also looking for a home. Both Jenny and Teklanika are retired from shows and breeding. Teklanika barely tolerated the fuss and muss of shows.

Teklanika is a medium-sized spay who likes company of either people or other cats. She is a sweet girl who is a nice companion to have around. She comes looking for attention more than Jenny or Dora but is not as "demanding" about it when she wants her love. You rarely hear Nika make any noise as she prefers to give more of a "silent meow". She doesn't like to sit still for grooming and will try to sneak away.

Nika, like all our cats, like being around other cats but have not had any exposure to dogs or small childern.

Our cats go only to approved homes and we have a contract that buyers must sign. We require that any kitten or cat from our home be kept inside only (except when on leash, transported in a carrier, or in an enclosed outdoor run). We also have a questionnaire and Vet authorization that we ask prospective buyers to complete with reference requests. We do check references provided by prospective buyers.

The cost of an adult is substainally less than for a kitten. Our main concern is that these cats go to loving homes where they get plenty of attention. We wish we could keep them all!
